Investigation Underway After Pedestrian Killed in Suffolk County Collision With Mercedes-Benz on Middle Country Road
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK (May 16, 2026) – A pedestrian has tragically died in a Suffolk County car accident along Middle Country Road.
Suffolk County officials are saying that the accident took place around 9:34 PM on Sunday. A pedestrian was walking when they were hit by a westbound 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML 350.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash to help the victim. They were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital to receive treatment.
Sadly, they were later pronounced dead at the hospital. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
