Woman on Phone Tumbes Down Opening in New Jersey Sidewalk

On June 9, 2017, a woman did not notice an open sidewalk access door in front of her and fell down the hole. She dropped nearly six feet down the stairs into a basement. On May 4, 2017, Xin Kang Wang, a 74-year-old bicyclist, died after a Toyota Camry cab’s door opened, knocking him from a bike lane into Union Square traffic.
