Investigation Underway After Bicyclist Died In Sunset Park, Brooklyn Collision By 4th Avenue and Belt Parkway
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (September 22, 2024) – A cyclist was killed in a Sunset Park, Brooklyn collision near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Belt Parkway.
New York City officials are saying that the collision took place around 3:00 a.m. on Friday. A cyclist was riding his bike when he was hit by a 2017 Dodge Challenger heading eastbound.
The force of the impact knocked the victim to the ground. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Despite life-saving measures, the victim died due to their injuries. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
