Pedestrian Died in Lower East Side, Manhattan Hit-and-Run Car Accident by Stanton Street and Clinton Street
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (December 19, 2025) – A woman has tragically died in a Lower East Side, Manhattan car accident at the intersection of Stanton Street and Clinton Street.
New York City officials are saying that the accident took place around 7:00 PM on Thursday. A woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a black SUV turning right on Stanton Street.
That driver continued going eastbound along Stanton Street. Paramedics were pulled to the scene of the collision to help the victim.
She was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition. Sadly, she died due to the severe nature of her injuries.
