New York State Police Investigating Vernon Car Accident on Prospect Street
VERNON, NEW YORK (February 18, 2024) – At least two people were injured in a Vernon head-on car accident along Prospect Street, according to New York State Police.
Oneida County officials are saying that the accident took place around 9:30 a.m. on Monday. A Honda Civic reportedly crossed over a set of double yellow lines and hit a pickup truck.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital after complaining about chest pain.
A full investigation into the Vernon head-on collision remains ongoing at this time.
