New York City Police Arrest One Driver On Suspicion of DUI After Fatal Pedestrian Accident
BRONX, NEW YORK (February 17, 2024) – A pedestrian has tragically died in Bronx car accident with a suspected drunk driver along White Plains Road.
New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday. A pedestrian was crossing the street when they were hit by two vehicles.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian later died due to their injuries.
Police arrested one of the two drivers on suspicion of DUI. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
