Driver Charged With DUI, Manslaughter After Fatal Syracuse Car Accident Along North Salina Street
SYRACUSE, NEW YORK (February 20, 2024) – A 59-year-old woman has tragically died in a Syracuse car accident with a drunk driver along North Salina Street.
Syracuse police officials are saying that the collision took place around 2:21 a.m. on Saturday. A driver went through a red light before colliding with another vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. Sadly, one woman died due to her injuries.
Police arrested the other driver on suspicion of DUI.
