Bus accidents are often highly preventable. They tend to involve situations where a driver is not paying adequate attention to the road ahead of them. If a bus driver fails to slow down to avoid a collision, this could form the basis of a negligence claim. Any person injured in a bus accident may be able to pursue some measure of accountability through a bodily injury claim. Damages in a civil claim can help cover lost wages, medical bills, and pain and suffering.
