Woman Killed In Ronkonkoma Hit-And-Run DUI Car Accident Along Johnson Avenue
RONKONKOMA, NEW YORK (August 16, 2022) – A woman has tragically died after being run over by a drunk driver in Ronkonkoma along Johnson Avenue.
Ronkonkoma police officials are saying that the collision took place around 1:30 a.m. on August 14. A woman was walking when she was hit by a driver.
The driver fled the scene of the collision. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Sadly, the woman who was hit died due to her injuries. Police later captured the driver that fled the scene and charged them with DUI and hit-and-run.
A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
