Liability For Rosendale Car Accidents
Speeding is one of the most common causes of car accidents in the United States. According to the NHTSA, “For more than two decades, speeding has been involved in approximately one-third of all motor vehicle fatalities. In 2020, speeding was a contributing factor in 29% of all traffic fatalities.” There are many other factors that could contribute to car accidents including:
- Distracted driving
- Inclement weather
- Driver fatigue
- Poor road conditions
All drivers have a legal obligation to exercise due care in order to avoid accidents. They must drive according to the prevailing conditions of the roadway. If a driver fails to reduce their speed and hits another vehicle, this could form the basis of a negligence claim. Any person that is injured in a car accident could seek damages through a bodily injury claim. A car accident attorney can examine all of the facts of your case and let you know what your legal options are.
