New York City Police Investigating East Village MTA Bus Collision By The Intersection of Avenue D and East 10th Street
EAST VILLAGE, NEW YORK (March 28, 2024) – A pedestrian has tragically died in an East Village MTA bus accident at the intersection of Avenue D and East 10th Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 11:00 p.m. on Friday. A pedestrian was crossing the street when they were hit by an MTA bus making a right turn.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
