New York Police Department Searching For Driver Involved In Fatal Pedestrian Collision on Hutchinson River Parkway
BRONX, NEW YORK (October 28, 2024) – A pedestrian has tragically died in a Bronx hit-and-run car accident on the Hutchinson River Parkway.
New York City officials are saying that the incident took place around 8:12 p.m. on Monday. A driver hit a pedestrian crossing the road and then fled the scene.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. They found the unidentified man in the roadway unresponsive.
Despite life-saving measures at the hospital, he was later pronounced dead. The NYPD is still searching for the driver involved in the crash.
Liability For Bronx Hit-And-Run Collisions

Pedestrian fatalities account for 18% of all crash fatalities.
