Liability In Trenton Motorcycle Accidents
Thousands of people are killed or seriously injured every year in motorcycle accidents. According to III, “Operating a motorcycle requires a different combination of physical and mental skills than those used in driving four-wheel vehicles. Motorcyclists and their passengers are more vulnerable to the hazards of weather and road conditions than drivers in closed vehicles.” There are many factors that could lead someone to hit a motorcycle.
- Distracted driving
- Inclement weather
- Poor road conditions
All drivers have a legal obligation to exercise due care in order to avoid hitting other vehicles. Many collisions are due to drivers that are traveling too fast for the prevailing conditions. The family of any person that is killed in a motorcycle accident may have legal recourse through a wrongful death claim. A wrongful death attorney can examine all of the facts of your case and let you know what your legal options are.
