One Person Killed In Brooklyn Car Accident While Riding An Electric Scooter By Avenue L and 17th Street
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (October 16, 2022) – A man has died in a Brooklyn car accident while riding an electric scooter near Avenue L and 17th Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 2:00 p.m. on Friday. A 49-year-old man was riding an electric scooter when he was hit by a Mercedes-Benz.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. They were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
They were pronounced dead not long after being admitted. A full investigation into the crash on Avenue L remains ongoing.
