Two People Died Including 7-Year-Old Child Following Hudson River Boat Accident After The Boat Capsized
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK (July 12, 2022) – Two people were killed including a 7-year-old boy after a boat capsized in the Hudson River by Pier 84 in Midtown Manhattan.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place on Tuesday. More than a dozen people were on a Yamaha boat when it suddenly capsized.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help all of the victims. Sadly, a 50-year-old woman and a 7-year-old boy died after becoming trapped underneath the boat.
A full investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
