Investigation Underway After Two People Died in Head-On Car Accident in Totowa Along I-80
TOTOWA, NEW JERSEY (February 13, 2026)—Two people have tragically died in a Totowa car accident along Interstate 80.
New Jersey State Police are saying that the collision took place around 2:08 a.m. on Monday. A Honda and a Buick were traveling on opposite sides of the roadway when they were involved in a head-on collision.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash to help the victims. Sadly, two people died due to the severe nature of their injuries.
A child was also injured in the crash.

Many of these accidents involve speeding drivers.
