A settlement in excess of 6 million dollars was reached for an undocumented New Jersey construction worker who was not wearing his safety harness, when he fell 4 stories as result of a defective scaffold. The construction worker, who had risked his life coming to the United States to make a better life for his family back home suffered a traumatic brain injury, multiple spinal, chest, and facial fractures that required surgical intervention.
