LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK (September 1, 2024) – A pedestrian was critically injured in a Mastic, Long Island pedestrian collision while walking along Montauk Highway.

Long Island police officials are saying that the collision took place around 10:30 p.m. on Friday. A driver was heading down the roadway and hit a man who was walking.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital in order to receive care.
