New York State Police Investigating Commack Bus Accident That Left Multiple People Injured on the Long Island Expressway
COMMACK, NEW YORK (February 18, 2024) – Several people were injured in Commack after a school bus was involved in a collision on the Long Island Expressway.
Commack police officials are saying that the collision took place around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A school bus struck a guardrail and landed on its side.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help all of the victims. The bus driver, school aide and several children were taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment.
A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
