Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Queens Hit-And-Run Car Accident Involving U-Haul By 21st Street and Borden Avenue
QUEENS, NEW YORK (December 24, 2022) – A male pedestrian was critically injured in a Queens U-Haul hit-and-run car accident near 21st Street and Borden Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A man was crossing the street when he was hit by the driver of a stolen U-Haul truck.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police are still searching for the driver of the U-Haul who fled the scene. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
