Man Died In Bensonhurst, Staten Island Scooter Accident By The Intersection of 18th Avenue and 74th Street
STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK (December 29, 2022) – A 22-year-old man has tragically died in a Staten Island car accident while riding an electric scooter by 18th Avenue and 74th Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 12:50 p.m. on Saturday. A man was riding an electric scooter when he was hit by a vehicle.
The force of the impact knocked him to the ground and left him with serious head trauma. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Sadly, the scooter rider later died as a result of his injuries. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
