Woman Arrested and Charged With DWI Following Death of E-Bike Rider on Bagatelle Road in Long Island
MELIVILLE, NEW YORK (October 26, 2025) – An e-bike rider was killed in a Meliville, Long Island car accident on Bagatelle Road at Eastbound Express Drive South.
New York City officials are saying that the collision occurred on Saturday morning. An e-bike rider was heading down the road when they were hit by a 24-year-old woman driving a 2018 Subaru Forrester as she was making a left turn.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victim. Sadly, the e-bike rider died.
Police have since charged the driver of the Subaru with DUI. A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
