One Driver Arrested After Rochester Car Accident Involving Drunk Driver On Portland Avenue Near Clifford Avenue
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (March 28, 2024) – At least one person was injured in a Rochester DUI car accident involving five vehicles on Portland Avenue and Clifford Avenue.
Rochester police officials are saying that the collision took place around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday night. A driver crossed into opposing lanes of traffic before hitting a vehicle.
That driver then tried to correct course before spinning out and hitting three other vehicles. Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help all of the victims.
At least one person was confirmed to be injured. The police arrested the driver who started the chain reaction crash on suspicion of DUI.
