Several People Injured In New Rochelle Collision Caused By Spill On Interstate 95
NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK (January 22, 2022) – Multiple people were injured in a New Rochelle multi-vehicle car accident caused by a spill on Interstate 95.
New Rochelle police officials are saying that the collision took place around 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday. A tractor-trailer truck spilled over 100 gallons of some type of substance on the roadway.
Over 21 cars and a semi-truck made contact with the substance before being involved in a pile-up. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims.
Several people were taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
