84-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Vehicle Collision on Amboy Road in Tottenville, Staten Island
STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK (March 11, 2025) – An 84-year-old man was critically injured in a Tottenville, Staten Island pedestrian accident along Amboy Road.
New York City officials are saying that the accident took place around 6:58 PM on Friday. An 84-year-old man was crossing the street and was hit by an 80-year-old woman operating a vehicle.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. He was transported in an ambulance to Staten Island University Hospital.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was later pronounced dead due to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle that hit him remained at the scene.
