Investigation Underway After Several People Injured in Bronx Apartment Fire
BRONX, NEW YORK (August 24, 2025) – Multiple people were injured, and dozens of families were evacuated following a Bronx apartment fire along Cypress Avenue.
New York City officials are saying that the fires started around 2 PM on Wednesday. Around 180 fire and EMS officials were called to the scene to help the victims.
The fire was eventually put out. Residents in the lower levels said that they were concerned about water damage.
Multiple people were transported to the hospital to receive treatment.
