Neighbors Shocked Following Deadly Astoria Queens Collision
QUEENS, NEW YORK (August 20, 2025) – Two people have tragically died in Astoria, Queens in a car accident with a food truck by the intersection of 42nd Street and 19th Avenue.
New York City officials are saying that the accident took place on August 12. An elderly driver may have lost control of his vehicle before colliding with a food truck.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene to help the victims. Sadly, two people died as a result of the crash. It remains unclear what may have caused the crash.
A full investigation into the Astoria collision remains ongoing.
