Investigation Underway After One Person Killed, Two Injured in Mohawk Car Accident on Stoner Trail Road
MOHAWK, NEW YORK (February 28, 2026)—One person has died and two people were injured in a Mohawk car accident along Stoner Trail Road.
Montgomery County officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:12 PM on Tuesday, February 24. Two vehicles were involved in a collision for undetermined reasons.
The force of the impact caused one of the vehicles to end up on the northbound shoulder of the freeway. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the victims.
Sadly, one person died due to the severity of their injuries. Two other people were transported to the hospital. A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
