After sustaining a horrific life altering injury as the result of egregious medical negligence, I was left truly broken and overwhelmingly distraught at a young age. Back in 2022 I had taken a nasty fall down my apartment stairs, not from my own fault but by faulty carpentry. I felt wronged as I had asked to have this problem fixed and was told it was. I contacted many offices, was told many times it was my own fault. GLK was the first place to listen to me and tell me my options. Not that I had to sue but that I the option too. My accident in 2016 changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined. I never thought I would need legal help. I found all of the GLK staff so caring, informed and experts in their field. Always ethical and patient - they wanted what was best for me - to heal and get back to my life. This was always the priority in phone calls and in every meeting and conversation. Unfortunately, I did not return to my pre-accident life and we proceeded with a legal path that ended in a trial and settlement. With their advice, I had everything in place for a strong case. I felt supported and listened to throughout the whole process. These are surreal times. We managed to settle a week before NYC was quarantined. Initially I worked with Jeff and Ed directly after my accident. Dan Linson handled the majority of my pre-trial case, coming to my house to meet me and my family as well as prep for our depositions.
