Multiple Injured After Truck Hits Andrew Torregrossa & Sons Funeral Home in Flatlands, Brooklyn

FLATLANDS, BROOKLYN (March 17, 2026) – Three people were injured in Flatlands, Brooklyn, after a truck slammed into the Andrew Torregrossa & Sons Funeral Home on Flatbush Avenue.

New York City officials are saying that the accident took place around 8:30 AM on Monday morning. A commercial truck crashed into the chapel of the building for undetermined reasons.

One gas station clerk nearby reported hearing a loud boom after the collision. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help all of the victims.

A total of three people were injured and transported to local hospitals. It remains unclear what caused the truck driver to crash into the building?

A full investigation remains ongoing.
