Bicyclist Injured In New Rochelle Car Accident

New York State Police Investigating New Rochelle Bicycle Accident By North Avenue and Huguenot Street

NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK (March 10, 2024) – A bicyclist was injured in a New Rochelle car accident at the intersection of North Avenue and Huguenot Street.

New Rochelle police officials are saying that the accident took place around 10:45 a.m. on Friday. A bicyclist was in the middle of a crosswalk when he was hit by a Mercedes SUV.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. He was taken to a hospital in order to receive treatment.

The driver of the SUV was taken away from the scene in an unmarked police car.
