Teenage Skateboarder Injured In Brooklyn Car Accident

No Arrests After Teen Skateboarder Critically Injured In Brooklyn Collision By Neptune Avenue and Tenth Street

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (July 12, 2024) – A 15-year-old girl riding a skateboard was critically injured in a Brooklyn collision near the intersection of Neptune Avenue and Tenth Street.

New York City officials are saying that the collision took place around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. A teen girl was in a crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle.

The force of the impact caused the girl to become pinned under the vehicle. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the skateboarder.

She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene.
