Pedestrian Killed In Brentwood, Long Island on Suffolk Avenue

30-Year-Old Pedestrian Died in Brentwood Collision While Crossing Suffolk Avenue and Fourth Street

BRENTWOOD, NEW YORK (July 14, 2025) – A 30-year-old pedestrian has tragically died in a Brentwood collision near the intersection of Suffolk Avenue and Fourth Street.

Brentwood officials are saying that the collision took place shortly before 5 AM on Saturday. The pedestrian was crossing the street when they were hit by a Dodge Caravan.

Paramedics were called to the scene to help the victim. But he was beyond medical aid and later pronounced dead at the hospital.

It remains unclear if the driver of the vehicle will face any citations.

When drivers fail to avoid a pedestrian, they could be held at fault through a civil action. It is important that evidence be properly preserved after any accident.

• Photos of the accident site that should be taken.
• Surveillance footage of the intersection should be sought.
• The police should be called so that they can begin an investigation.
