Pedestrian Injured In Elmont Car Accident on Hempstead Turnpike

New York State Police Investigating Pedestrian Collision on Hempstead Turnpike By Elmont Road and Plainfield Avenue

ELMONT, NEW YORK (February 19, 2024) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after an Elmont car accident on the Hempstead Turnpike by Elmont Road and Plainfield Road.

Elmont police officials are saying that the collision took place on Tuesday morning. A pedestrian was walking when they were hit by a vehicle.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. They were taken to the hospital in order to receive care.
