OSHA Investigating Elevator Accident at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona

VERONA, NEW YORK (April 9, 2026) – At least five construction workers were injured in Verona after an elevator collapse at the Turning Stone Resort Casino on Patrick Road.

Oneida County officials are saying that the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. An elevator collapsed and trapped multiple workers.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help all of the victims. Several workers were transported to the hospital to receive treatment for broken bones.

A full investigation into the accident by OSHA remains ongoing.
