89-Year-Old Veteran Injured in Fort Hamilton Apartment Fire on 91st Street
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (October 5, 2025) – An 89-year-old man was injured in a Fort Hamilton apartment fire on 91st Street, according to the NYPD.
New York City officials are saying the collision took place around 3:30 AM on Saturday. Period. For reasons that remain under investigation, a fire started on the second floor of the apartment complex.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing.
