Project owners or contractors do not have to report near-miss accidents. Nevertheless, near miss accidents are reliable safety indicators while analyzing construction site safety.  

The study shows that a simple BMI application can be used to report and record near miss accidents in order to visualize them. These visualizations can be helpful for safety managers and other construction professionals to realize the danger of near misses and take the necessary measures to prevent these potential deadly accidents.
