Pedestrian Injured In Greenpoint Car Accident

New York State Police Investigating Greenpoint, Brooklyn Car Accident By Sutton Street and Nassau Avenue

GREENPOINT, NEW YORK (March 28, 2024) – A pedestrian was critically injured in a Greenpoint car accident near the intersection of Sutton Street and Nassau Avenue.

New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 7:00 p.m. on February 21. A driver was making a left-turn in a pickup truck when they hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. She was taken to NY Health + Hospital / Elmhurst with critical injuries.

A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
