Liability For Camillus Car Accidents

Head-on crashes are among the most dangerous types of collisions that a person can be involved in. They account for only around 2% of all collisions but are involved in over 10% of all traffic fatalities. Many collisions are due to speeding. According to the NHTSA, “For more than two decades, speeding has been involved in approximately one-third of all motor vehicle fatalities. In 2021, speeding was a contributing factor in 29% of all traffic fatalities.” Victims of car accidents tend to suffer very serious injuries including:

  • Broken bones
  • Head injuries
  • Lacerations
  • Spinal cord injuries

It can be hard to know what to do after any car accident. This is especially true for families that have lost someone due to the negligence of another driver. However, accident victims do have rights. The family of any person that died in a car accident may be able to seek some measure of justice through a civil claim. A wrongful death attorney can examine all of the unique facts of your case and let you know what your legal options are.
