Man Riding Moped Critically Injured In Williamsburg, Brooklyn Collision By Lorimer Street and Union Avenue

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (September 9, 2024) – A man was critically injured after the moped he was driving was hit by a vehicle in Williamsburg, Brooklyn by Lorimer Street and Union Avenue.

New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around midnight on Wednesday. The moped driver was crossing Union Avenue when his vehicle was hit by a Jeep.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. He was taken to Kings County Hospital with critical injuries.

A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
