Four Injured in Amherst Car Accident on Sheridan Drive by Jordan Road

Amherst Police Officials Investigating Collision Between United States Postal Service Truck and Ryder Truck Along Sheridan Drive

AMHERST, NEW YORK (March 24, 2024) – A total of four people have been injured in an Amherst collision involving a United States Postal Truck on Sheridan Drive.

Amherst police officials are saying that the collision took place around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. A United States Postal truck was attempting to switch lanes when it collided with a Ryder truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims. A total of four people were injured, and several were taken to the hospital.

A full investigation into the Amherst collision remains ongoing at this time.
