Long Island Police Investigation Fatal Pedestrian Crash Along Deerfield Road in Watermill
WATERMILL, NEW YORK (July 25, 2026) – A pedestrian has tragically died in a car accident on Deerfield Road.
Watermill police officials are saying that the incident occurred around 8:30 AM on Friday. A pedestrian was running northbound when she was hit by a four-door sedan that was traveling southbound.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the innocent victim. Fortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. A full investigation remains ongoing.
Liability for Watermill Pedestrian Accidents
