Moped Driver Killed In Bronx Car Accident

New York City Police Officials Investigating Deadly Bronx Car Accident on Park Avenue at East 183rd Street

BRONX, NEW YORK (February 24, 2024) – A 35-year-old man riding a moped has tragically died in a Bronx car accident between Park Avenue and East 183rd Street.

New York City police officials are saying that the incident took place around 7:40 p.m. on Friday. The moped rider was heading southbound on Park Avenue when they were struck by a black sedan traveling eastbound on 183rd Street.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. The moped driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Despite life-saving measures, they later died at the hospital. A full investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
