Investigation Underway After Two People Died in Flatbush Apartment Fire

FLATBUSH, NEW YORK (May 25, 2026) – Two people have tragically died in a Flatbush apartment fire at a property along Nostrand Avenue.

New York City officials are saying that the accident took place around 5:45 a.m. on Monday. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help all of the victims.

Two people were transported to local area hospitals with severe injuries. Sadly, both people later died due to their injuries.

A full investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing at this time.
