Three Pedestrians Injured in Manhattan Car Accident on West 131st Street

Investigation Underway After Multiple Pedestrians Injured in Manhattan by West 131st Street and Amsterdam Avenue

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (February 18, 2026)—Three pedestrians were injured in a Manhattan car accident near the intersection of W. 131st St. and Amsterdam Avenue.

New York City officials are saying that the collision took place around 2:50 PM on Tuesday. A driver reportedly had some type of medical episode before colliding with all of the victims.

The car also proceeded to hit scaffolding in the process. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the victims.

Three people were transported to the hospital.
