One Person Injured In East Harlem Apartment Fire

New York City Fire Department Investigating East Harlem Apartment Fire

EAST HARLEM, NEW YORK (January 26, 2024) – At least one person was injured in an East Harlem apartment fire on the 5th floor of the Wagner Houses.

New York City officials are saying that the incident took place around 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Firefighters were called to the scene after getting a report about the fire.

They were able to get the fire under control and extricate several people from the building. One person was injured and taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment.

A full investigation into the East Harlem fire remains ongoing at this time.
