New York Police Department Critically Injured In Astoria, Queens Hit-And-Run Collision By Broadway and 29th Street

QUEENS, NEW YORK (February 28, 2024) – A moped driver was critically injured in an Astoria, Queens hit-and-run car accident by Broadway and 29th Street.

New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place just before 6:00 p.m. on Monday. A moped driver was heading down the road in Astoria when they were clipped by a driver.

The victim was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. People in the neighborhood said that he was a very friendly delivery driver.

Police are still searching for the driver involved who fled the scene. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
