65-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured After Being Shoved Off Train at Manhattan Station

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (June 24, 2026) – A 65-year-old man was seriously injured after being pushed off a train at the 28th St. Manhattan subway station.

New York City officials are saying that the incident took place around 1:20 AM on June 2. An unidentified man pushed a passenger off of the train and onto the platform.

The force of the impact resulted in the man sustaining a head injury and multiple facial fractures. The assailant fled from the scene on foot.

A full investigation into the incident remains ongoing at this time.
