Two Workers Injured After Falling Down 10-Foot Hole At Brooklyn Construction Site Along Lawrence Street

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (May 29, 2024) – Two workers were injured after they fell down a hole at a downtown construction site in Brooklyn.

New York City police are saying that the incident took place around 11:10 a.m. on Monday. Two workers fell down the same hole and were injured in the process.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims. They were both extricated from the hole and taken to the hospital.

A full investigation by OSHA remains ongoing at this time.
