Three Injured in East Farmingdale Box Truck Accident

Suffolk County Police Investigating Major Truck Accident Involving Box Truck and Nissan Frontier on Broadhollow Road

EAST FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK (September 2, 2026) –   Three people were injured in an East Farmingdale box truck accident along Broadhollow Road.

Suffolk County officials are saying that the collision occurred around 5:50 AM on Thursday. A Nissan Frontier was traveling southbound on Broadhollow Road when it was involved in a collision with a 2014 Hino box truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help all of the victims. One person was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip to receive treatment for major injuries.

Two other people were transported to the hospital to receive treatment for moderate injuries. The Nissan involved was impounded for a safety check.

The driver of the box truck remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
